Greetings Pathfinders...
I’m not gonna sugar coat it. Covid-19 has been difficult for many of us. We all miss getting together for our weekly gaming sessions, for seeing our friends over the gaming table. It’s been rough. This has been especially true for me. I know that this pandemic has impacted me because of my lack of playing Pathfinder and for personal reasons. Urgathoa, the Pallid Princess, has certainly done a number. My theory is that this payback for all the times that the Pathfinder Society has interfered with her plans.
That having been said, all is not lost. While many news outlets focus on the negatives (if it bleeds, it leads) I have seen some stories which indicate that curve is flattening. Things will get better soon! We have several people learning how to use Roll20 and other online tools to get their game on with online games and I am confident that before much longer, the restrictions currently in place will start being lifted. We just need to have faith that it will get better soon.
With that, I do have a piece of good news. Everyone remember how KoboldCon and GameCon in Colorado Springs were canceled as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak? Everyone remember how sad you were when that happened? Well, Virtual KoboldCon 2020 is taking place in a little over a few short weeks!
On May 1-3, Virtual KoboldCon will be taking place. I have not entered any games for it yet, because I don’t have GMs, but if you are interested in attending, you can do so for the low price of only $5! For tickets and information, just go to https://tabletop.events/conventions/vir ... ldcon-2020 to purchase your tickets and learn more about it.
Anyone interested in GMing, please contact me with details of the game, and I will enter them in to the system. GM Badges are also $5 but you also get all sorts of digital swag to go with it.
Let’s all try to get together and have some fun virtually while we wait for the social distancing to be a thing of the past and we can get around the tables with our friends once more!
