I have a few questions.

I met a guy & his wife who are interested in trying out this RPG stuff. Particularly D&D since that's all they've heard of until I explained the differences of D&D Home games & PF Society play. They have never played an RPG. I'm thinking of inviting them to the game on the 4th to try it out - If they can make it.

So, is Tarnbreaker's Trail very beginner friendly and would the GM be willing to accept newbies to the party? We may have to explain a lot which will slow down the game, but, hey! Possible new players to our hobby.

Having GM'd it, I'd say that it's very social heavy, combat light. I think it can get a little confusing (partially due to special mechanics), but I don't think it's a terrible first experience. Shoot me a text if you want more of a spoiler-heavy answer, I don't want to give it away on the boards.

I'll take a spot at Tarnbreaker's Trail. Also sign up Daniel A.

He's the new player I mentioned. Hopefully he'll sign up on the forum soon.

I know Christian is out driving in this right now, he'll shoot us an update on road conditions and we can plan accordingly.

Currently hoping that they get the roads cleared enough that we'll have safe conditions by tonight. But that may be a vain hope.

If anyone feels unsafe traveling tonight, please stay home.

I'm hopeful that what little sunshine there is in Aurora might result in some melting before this evening. I'm willing to trudge over just for the Repeatable XP for a 1st level character! Hoping to be 2nd level for GenghisCon.
