Yeah, I used to use d6s of different colors to number the attackers, but I'll think of something more fun than that. And I like what you said about mixing it up to keep it a surprise. I know there are limits within organized play, but I used to re-skin monsters in modules all the time to exasperate meta-gamers. I'll take a little creative license to keep it interesting, without being OP/TPK. No fun in that. I tend to root for the PCs when I GM. The hardest part will be keeping it to 4 hours.

Unfortunately, re-skinning is not allowed in PFS. It's "Run as Written".

Yeah, I read that in the GM guidelines last night. I'll do exactly that. They put a lot of thought into balance for Organized Play. Thanks for that clarification, Christian.

Will do. Also a question. If I show up a bit early is anyone else coming who might be able to help me make a character. It's my first time trying out 2nd edition, I'm gonna try and make it today but wanted to check with someone who has played to make sure I did it right.

I tend to be there about 20-30 minutes early. We will have pregenerated characters available to try, but if you bring something I can take a quick look to see if it looks right. If it’s close enough, I don’t see any issue using it; if it’s very wrong and there’s not enough time to fix it, you’ll have to use a pregen for the game.

Just keep in mind when building your character(s), at this time, only the Core Rulebook is legal for Pathfinder Society
