Hail and Well Met Pathfinders!
April showers (and thunderstorms) bring ADVENTURE! This month many students have spring break and Pathfinders will get the same. I am offering a few changes in our normal play schedule so I can include two new offerings: GM 101 for players interested in trying out the game from the other side of the screen, and Mini-painting 101 for those of you who want to learn the fundamentals of painting minis for table-top games.
GM 101 is a course that is divided into four lessons, each lasting approximately one hour. These include "Roleplaying: Bringing Scenarios to Life," Rules: Enabling Awesomeness, Restricting Abuse," "Running the Game: The Science Behind the Art," and "Advanced Topics: When the Unexpected Strikes." These four basic topics will allow a player, new to GMing, to ease into the role, and also feel more comfortable overseeing the enjoyment of a table for a group of four to six players. If this event is successful, I will offer GM 201 early in May.
Mini-painting 101 is something I have been wanting to do for a while now to teach players the basics for prepping, priming, painting, and finishing miniatures to get them ready for tabletop game use. In this course, I will cover the basics and provide the prepared figures and tools needed to paint a figure for a game. If you want to buy a mini for the event, I recommend Reaper Bones or WizKids minis. Reaper Bones and WizKids minis are packaged as ready to paint, but I suggest you prep the Reaper Bones minis by washing with plain soap and water, rincing completely, and make sure the mini is completely dry before the event. WizKids minis are primed with a quality primer, so no additional prepwork is necessary.
As always, I have tried to incorporate as many requests as possible and if you want to see something changed, just ask!
Just as a reminder:
Explore, Cooperate, and Report!

07-11 Ancients' Anguish Tier 7-11 GM: Richard
When the Jeweled Sages, an ancient order of Osirian scholars, fled Qadiran invaders millennia ago, some perished, and others disappeared deep into territories once held by the pharaohs of old. With the help of the Jeweled Sages' long-abandoned tools, the eminent Tahonikepsu has discovered one of the sages' last known whereabouts in the wilds of Nex. What secrets lie within these inhospitable ruins that date back to the Age of Darkness, and what fate did the so-called Amethyst Sage meet within?

10-12 Breath of the Dragonskull Tier 1-5 GM: Mark H.
What began as a straightforward mission to escort the displaced Farheaven Clan back to their original homeland in Sarkoris is quickly beset with misfortune. The forest where the Farheavens live is burning, and they need urgent aid. But the Farheavens aren't the only ones in danger, and tensions and blame between the locals have almost risen to open violence. Meanwhile, the inferno's source rages unchecked. Can the Pathfinder Society diffuse this volatile situation and restore peace and safety to the region?

10-14 Debt to the Quah Tier 3-7 GM: Bill
The truth about a bungled Pathfinder expedition into what was supposedly Thassilonian ruin has come to light. Instead of being a forgotten ruin from an ancient civilization, the site was actually an ancient and sacred Shoanti mausoleum. After reading about this finding in the Pathfinder Chronicles, members of one Shoanti quah that has become an ally to the Pathfinder Society has given the Society a chance to explain its actions before a tribal council. If they can secure the council's approval, the PCs will have a chance to set things right at the sacred site. After being left open by the previous expedition, the tomb is filled with both opportunistic bandits and unquiet spirits.

You and your fellow veteran Pathfinders are sent, along with Venture-Captain Adril Hestram, to revolution-torn Galt to deliver the famous sword, the Pale Maiden, to the newly re-opened Woodsedge Lodge. All is not as it seems, however, when the lodge is attacked during a ceremony and a famous Pathfinder is murdered. The Lady of the Lodge, Venture-Captain Eliza Petulengro, puts you on the mission to solving the murder and catching those responsible.

SFS 01-34 Heart of the Foe Tier 3-6 GM: Adam
As the malicious jinsuls continue their conquest of the Scoured Stars system after chasing out the Starfinder Society, the Society's leaders have banded together to learn more of their new rivals. Before attacking the Scoured Stars, the jinsuls had adopted a new homeworld out in the Vast. The PCs join an expedition to this largely abandoned and hazardous planet in hopes of uncovering the origins of the jinsul menace. Content in Heart of the Foe follows-up on the events of Starfinder Society #1-99: The Scoured Stars Invasion, though playing the previous scenario is not required. Content in this scenario also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Second Seekers (Jadnura) faction, Second Seeker (Luwazi Elsebo) faction and to the ongoing year of the Scoured Stars storyline.
