Pathfinders...
Starfinders...
We have had several things happen and now things are finally settling down so I can take the time to write out a little note about all these things...
First and foremost, our own Venture Captain for the Denver area, Chris Mabbutt has decided to step back and issue his resgnation as a Venture Captain. I'm sure that you all join me in being sad at his departure, but glad that he is still going to be an active part of the Society and will be at our events! Thank you so much for all of the efforts that you have put forth for the Society, Chris! It is much appreciated as the work of a Venture Captain is often thankless.
With Chris' departure, Chris and I have both recommended to Tonya and Eric that Russ Brown be promoted to the position of Venture Captain for the Denver area. As many of you know, Russ was the Venture Captain for Denver 2 years ago and stepped back for awhile. He did a wonderful job and his ongoing contributions to the Society are too numerous to mention. We are glad to have him on board!
The next announcement is one that many of you have already discovered. Russ and Zach have recently upgraded the rockymountainpfs.com web site! The new site looks great, but we are still working out the kinks as we figure out all the new features. If you have any issues or need help with anything, please drop an email to Zach at admin@rockymountainpfs.com.
Last weekend, we were a part of GameCon XI at Rampart High School. Hundreds of middle school and high school students came and played all sorts of games and dozens of them were introduced to Pathfinder and Starfinder. Many thanks to all the GMs that volunteered!
Finally, as we go into the holiday season, we have no more conventions coming up in the near future. The holidays will keep us all busy, but you can still go to your local store and play games through the holidays, knowing that the new year will bring a whole bunch of conventions to have a blast at!
Explore, Report, Cooperate!
