ROCKY MOUNTAIN PATHFINDER SOCIETY

Pathfinders,

Soon Paizo, the publishers of the original Pathfinder game that we have played for years, will release the Second Edition Playtest and we will have an opportunity to contribute to this effort. The official materials will release next week and I expect the official playtest rules and agreements to be released at the same time.

I know that many of you are eager to participate in this review and feedback period for the Second Edition to improve the next incarnation of Golarion and the Pathfinder Society. If you are interested in participating, please reply below. I need to gage the interest to make sure I schedule enough sessions to address the local need. Keep in mind that participation may mean that you will play a pregenerated character, start a higher or lower game with little continuity between sessions, and you may be asked to agree to a playtest contract to not disclose playtest information without permission. You will also require a copy of the playtest materials. Do not worry if you did not pre-order the playtest book, there may be additional hard-copy versions available at Enchanted Realms, other stores in the local area, as well as online retailers like Piazo and Amazon. Reportedly the PDF version will also be available for download after the official playtest period begins.

I fully intended to GM the playtest. I have purchased Doomsday Dawn and intended to run it as well as the additional scenario's.

I'm fairly sure most of my me +5 group would be interested. When are these things likely to happen?

I don't know the full extent of content for the playtest. I know that the module is going to be available on Thursday and I have read that they are going to start with a quest type of scenario. That being said, I think the content is going to be limited, so it wouldn't be hard to run several different sessions.

My only request is that on the feedback section I want to see - Paladins of any Alignment!!!!

I have the module pre-ordered but won't be able to pick it up until after the 7th. The scenarios look interesting too.

I'm playing the module at Petrie's in August, and I'm planning on running it for my home group in September, so I'd rather focus on the scenarios that are available if at all possible.

I have added the first table(s) to the August schedule so I am taking this post off sticky for simplicity sake. Further posts should be made on the active schedule.
