Gaming Marathon for Charity Players Call-Colorado Springs July 14-15
Pathfinders...
Starfinders...
Do you want to help out a local charity? Do you want to have fun helping out a local charity? Do you want to play a Pathfinder Society exclusive adventure that is only being offered at five other conventions in the whole freaking world? Well, guess what... We have a unique opportunity coming up that will let you do all three without having to travel 800 miles!
July 14-15, we are going to be putting on a Gaming Marathon for Charity at Enchanted Realms Games and Gifts in Colorado Springs. Why are we calling it a Gaming Marathon? Because we will have 26 hours of non-stop gaming from July 14 noon through July 15 2pm! That's right, gaming, gaming, and more gaming!
What about the Pathfinder Society Exclusive adventure that I mentioned earlier? Paizo has given us permission to run 8-99C The Solstice Scar Version C at this event. This scenario is only authorized to be run at 5 other conventions around the world before August, and they are letting us do it, all in the name of raising money for charity! How incredible is that?
The cost for this event is $1 for every hour that you play, so if you decide to play for 10 hours, you pay $10. Additionally, we are selling re-rolls for charity! We will be selling re-roll coins for $2 a piece before the games, or $4 during the games with all proceeds going to charity!
In addition to all of that, we will be having door prizes, boons, and a unique boon that is being given to one lucky person, and all you have to do is show up and have fun! If you want to sign up for some of your favorite scenarios early, you can do so by going to http://rockymountainpfs.com/http://test ... ic.php?t=2, otherwise just show up, donate to charity, and have fun!

I would like to play for the for full 26 hours (Full Hardcore Charity Marathon Mode!!!!!), but I'll be starting from scratch with any character I would play. Is there any path of offered adventures that would allow for an unbroken marathon? (I'm completely new to PFS/SFS to be honest, and I don't really know what I'm looking for.) I am leaning towards doing Starfinder if I could, but if Pathfinder would make more sense for the full marathon, I would have absolutely no problem with that.

Welcome and good news!Musical_Musketeer wrote: I would like to play for the for full 26 hours (Full Hardcore Charity Marathon Mode!!!!!), but I'll be starting from scratch with any character I would play. Since it takes only 3 xp to level up from 1 to 2, and each scenario offers 1 xp, and there are three games that can accommodate a 1st level character you can start off with, you'll be exactly level 2 for the overnight module (provided we can get a GM and other players for it). And as modules give a full 3xp, you'll be level 3 for the 3-7 scenario Sunday morning. This would be your ideal path. The tricky part is the overnight, but in case Feast of Ravenmoor doesn't happen, there's a Starfinder game which can accommodate a 1st level character.
There are also pregen characters you can borrow which are levels 1, 4 or 7, in case you wanted to play something higher level, and there are rules which allow you receive credit on your unplayed 1st level character. Definitely download (and read) the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide for all the details you'll need in creating a character and participating in organized play.

If you would like some help making your 1st level character, please stop by any of the game stores when we meet and any of the VOs (and probably most of the players and GMs) will be glad to help you make your character.

So, assuming I've figured this out correctly, this path would work all the way through, right? Scourge of the Farheavens, Grotto of the Deluged God, The Solstice Scar Version C, On the Trail of History (with pregen), Save the Renkrodas (also pregen), and finishing with In the Grandmaster's Name.

Please sign me up for Scourge of the Farheavens, Grotto of the Deluged God, The Solstice Scar Version C. I'll slide into any tier from 1-6 with my own characters, I'll join the 7-8 if I can run a pregen on it.

Re: Gaming Marathon for Charity Players Call-Colorado Springs July 14-15
On the Trail of History and Save the Renkrodas are both Starfinder scenarios. If you are playing Pathfinder that you are wanting to progress, you would play Feast of Ravenmoor at 1:00 am instead. You character would be 2nd level at that point, and Feast of Ravenmoor (which is a full module) would give you enough experience that you would be 3rd level so you could play In the Grandmaster's Name.Musical_Musketeer wrote: So, assuming I've figured this out correctly, this path would work all the way through, right? I hadn't realized that Ravenmoor was a module.
In that case, please put me down for Scourge of the Farheavens, Grotto of the Deluged God, The Solstice Scar Version C (Tier 1-2), Feast of Ravenmoor, and In the Grandmaster's Name.

Because if filled up so quickly, I am putting up another table of it at the same time... Now I just need a GM for it!Ahz wrote:
