October. A time for harvest, a time to reap what has been sown, and a time for spirits! This week, The Starfinder Society is investigating a mysterious stranger who holds the key to finding a lost Starfinder planetary survey mission, Meanwhile, the Pathfinders track down a cult in Qaharid, try to make amends in a war torn land, and return to the Emerald Spire Super Dungeon. Just as a reminder:
  • Games start at 6pm and end at 10pm. Let's be respectful of our hosts and try to end on time!
  • Please make sure that your real name (or at least whatever you'd like me to call you on the schedule) is listed in your post

Explore, Cooperate, and Report!

Module The Emerald Spire Superdungeon Level 2: The Cellars Tier 1-3 GM: Bill
For ages untold, a gemstone monolith has pierced the heart of the Echo Wood. Now, as civilization intrudes upon this enigmatic splinter, a strange life once again stirs in the depths-one with ties to undying evils and a might beyond time itself. The promise of wealth and power calls to glory-seekers from across the Inner Sea region, tempting them into a labyrinth of monster-haunted vaults, defiled tombs, arcane laboratories, and worse, as they seek to unveil the secrets locked below the legendary Emerald Spire.

Most recently, the cult of Roidira has identified Qaharid as a pilgrimage city, and the once innocuous cultists have begun exhibiting truly strange behaviors. Society contacts recognize these actions as a sign that the Roidirans have uncovered some extraordinary secret in the wilderness nearby, and it fall to the PCs to speak with witnesses and track down the cult's discovery.

[shadow=ORANGE,left]** SPECIAL SEASONAL ADVENTURE**[/shadow]
8-06: Reaping What We Sow Tier 1-5 GM: Austin

When the flames of revolution swept through Galt, the Society lost much of what it held there: dozens of agents, several lodges, and the fellowship of countless contacts who foreswore the Society rather than become targets themselves. Although Venture-Captain Eliza Petulengro has reestablished a foothold in the country, she needs to rebuild her network of allies. One of the most important figures resides in Rosehaven, a small village due to celebrate its yearly festival of light and forgiveness. Petulengro hopes that an entourage of Pathfinders might participate in the festivities and endear itself to the Society's former friend. Past evils have other plans, however, and unless the PCs can keep their wits about them, they might not just lose sight of the mission; they might lose their lives.

Just curiosity: are we streaming for the Emerald Spire?

Yes, that is the plan. Of course, you know what happens to plans when it is time to execute... they always change.

It does not have to be the Emerald Spire game that is streamed, it could be any game. The store wants to stream one of our sessions to raise interest for those types of game at the store. If anyone is uncomfortable with being streamed on the internet, they will not be pressured/persuaded/coerced/cajoled/bullied into it :)

I was curious about it as well so I checked out their channel on Twitch (username enchantedrealmsgames btw) and it looked like they just had one camera pointing down at the table where all "magic" was happening. So unless they have a more complex setup elsewhere it would just be the map with our minis and our SCINTILLATING conversations that are being broadcast. And the odd hand/extended backscratcher.

They plan to have the wargaming room across the hall set up with three cameras and extra mics and they will splice the stream together to show the GM, some players, and the map. I am not involved with the technical side of things, but they are expanding their capability.

Is streaming going to become a regular thing? Because, if so, awesome.

I believe that is the plan, at least once per month if we can.

Are the pathfinder tables strictly limited to 6 players? I would be happy to join either 09-01 or 08-06. Thanks in advance,

Patrick
