So, it's happening. The Starfinder Society will officially begin after GenCon 50 when materials are released on/about 17 August. The question is: Is there interest in running and playing Starfinder Society sanctioned content here at Enchanted Realms? I believe there is.
Before I can schedule any Starfinder Society (SFS) events, I need to know that we have a GM and players interested in playing. That means that everyone involved will need the Starfinder Core Rule Book, the as yet unreleased SF Society Guide, and a valid SFS character. If this describes you, please let me know by posting below. The more interest we have, the more tables I will schedule in September. That should give all potential GMs and Players a chance to read up and become proficient with the new system.

I will be up for GMing and playing. However, I'd like to have a little time to get familiar with the rules. Hopefully Enchanted Realms will be ordering extra copies of the book...

Good question. As a first run of the rulebook, I do not have any insight on the production schedule. I know a few Pathfinders have asked Brian to order a copy for them so I expect a
few extra copies, but not many. I advise everyone who is interested to check with Brian or the other managers to put your name on a copy if there is a spare one!

I'm looking to playing the scenarios first. The. I will run them no problem. As already stated Starfinder will be my first to go to, so it will trump pathfinder. When I get the core I will be reading through it 5 times.

I am very interested in both running and playing Starfinder. I have placed an order for the core rulebook and can't wait to play.
Thanks,
James.

I guess the time comes where the sword is now insufficient and the plasma blade shall replace it. The stars await, and I'm happy to get on board. Want to run and play Starfinder definitely!

I definitely am interested. Seems like we should almost dedicate one day a month to meet all of the interest that is being shown.
Oh and I'm down to GM & play

That is the plan, except for the first month. I was thinking that two games the first month so more
Pathfinders Starfinders get a chance to experience the system. Because of the slow release schedule, I will only plan one a month after that.

I have a copy of the core rulebook on preorder.
It is hardcover.
Don't think for a moment I won't use it as an improvised blunt weapon if at least one Starfinder table isn't made available every month!

I think that as we figure out the demand, we will balance out the schedule accordingly.
There are a couple of factors that need to be considered such as the relatively slow pace of scenarios being released (they are not planning on releasing them as quickly as Pathfinder scenarios) and the fact that for the first couple of months we will only have 2 or 3 scenarios available to play, not to mention that I am going to ask all of our various coordinators to go relatively slowly for the first month to allow for everyone to have the opportunity to play it at the upcoming conventions in September.
Starfinder Society is definitely going to happen, but it may not happen as quickly as people want at first because of these limitations. I will try to release more guidance to the Venture Officer Corp this weekend (when I have a chance to sit down and figure out the schedule for Tacticon.)

A heads up Drogon, store coordinator in Denver, has a gm call for a convention in late August early September with a decent amount of Starfinder adventurers
