Enchanted Realms GM call: August 2017
Posted: Sun Jul 16, 2017 3:21 pm
You want to know something crazy? I am actually getting a jump on scheduling for next month. I know, insane, right? Anyway, we have had a lot of requests lately and I thought I'd try to get a jump on them... and I will be gone the last 2 Wednesdays of July so if not now, I'll never get this done.
In August I will start doing PFS character audits again starting with one character per week. Last time I tried to do 3 characters and that became a full evening event. I will roll randomly for which of the tables will be picked and then have players and the GM roll randomly until we have a 20. That person will have one of their characters audited and they will get a little something from me (a die, coin, etc.) as a thank you for the inconvenience. If any GM who is not running an event wants to help out auditing a character, please let me know and I can hook you up with the form we use.
This month school will be starting for many and I expect attendance to wane a little as the month goes on so we are dropping one game by the end of the month from 5 a week to 4. If you have any suggestions, it is never too late to ask for a change.
Just as a reminder:
- Games start at 6pm and end at 10pm. Let's be respectful of our hosts and try to end on time!
- Please make sure that your real name (or at least whatever you'd like me to call you on the schedule) is listed in your post
- Sign up as soon as possible, you can always cancel if you need to
- Any sign ups on the day of the game (Wednesday) may not get a slot at the table, but do show up. We will always try to fit you in to a game!
- GMs: if you need to cancel, let me know ASAP so I can find a replacement!
- If you want a game scheduled, please ask!

08-24 Raid on the Cloudborne Keep Tier 5-9 GM: Hjal
"Followers of the evil elemental lord of air Hshurha have learned of the Pathfinder Society's plans to break open the Untouchable Opal and release Hshurha's ancient rival. One of Hshurha's lieutenants is gathering forces to deal a decisive blow to the Society and its new allies in the Concordance of Elements. If the PCs act quickly, they can make a daring strike, commandeering an airship on the Plane of Air and overtaking their enemy's fortress before it has the chance to rally its army.
Content in Raid on the Cloudborne Keep also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Silver Crusade faction."

Finding the smuggler dead and a familiar face from Absalom responsible, your task quickly becomes a race to retrieve the statues before their brutal power can be unleashed on the citizens of the Satrap. Can you find the statues in time or will Sedeq be swallowed in a plague like none Golarion has ever seen?

Life in Taldor is fraught with peril, especially for the crumbling noble houses of the Taldan countryside. One such house, the Bourtze Family, has fallen on hard times and they've informed the Pathfinder Society that, in exchange for a small sum of money, they'd be willing to part with a treasure trove of lore about Qadira's Grand Campaign, the 300-year invasion of Taldor. On your arrival, things quickly turn for the worse and instead of evaluating the worth of a few scraps of historical paper, you must instead retrieve one of the most dangerous artifacts in the empire.

07-14 Faithless and Forgotten, Part 1: Let Bygones Be Tier 1-5 GM: Hjal
Ever since the tragedy at Delvehaven decades ago, the infernal empire Cheliax has rarely allowed Pathfinders to explore its many ruins and archaeological treasures-even then only after its recently disenfranchised liaison Zarta Dralneen fought for that privilege. Cheliax has once again extended its hand to the Society, inviting its agents to investigate an abandoned keep that dates back to the Chelish civil war. It's up to the PCs to navigate the Corentyn's streets and politics as they uncover the buried past and lay the foundation for a new partnership with a one-time foe.

07-12 The Twisted Circle Tier 1-5 GM: Bill
A magical war between the archmages Geb and Nex left the landscape between their nations scarred and wracked by magical anomalies-a barren stretch known as the Mana Wastes. During the conflict, their generals also created countless weapons and defenses that pushed the limits of magic, yet most of these were destroyed in battle or lost forever. Recent investigations suggest that some of this ancient power is at play in an insular town outside Alkenstar, but there the trail runs cold. Can the PCs uncover the truth while braving the residents' eccentricities?

They've sent you into a wintry wilderness of primordial beastmen and snow creatures not seen below the snow line to do just that. With the Aspis Consortium also seeking the bones, the race is on to beat them to the top and, once the bones are recovered, to make it back down alive.

07-22 Bid for Alabastrine Tier 1-5 GM: Randy
Decades ago, the merchant nation of Druma anticipated a wave of migrants and built the city Alabastrine to accommodate them. The mass migration never happened. Always seeking a return on investment, Druma recently began auctioning off control of the city to the highest bidders and wealthiest entrepreneurs for five years at a time. The next auction begins soon, and the powerful Aspis Consortium gold agent Myrosype-an enemy of the Society responsible for countless Pathfinders' deaths-is poised to take control of the whole city for her own nefarious ends. The Society has secured a few invitations for the PCs to attend the auction. Can they disrupt the event's delicate politics in order to stop their rival, or will the Aspis Consortium gain an unassailable stronghold? Content in 'Bid for Alabastrine' also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Exchange Faction. Content in this scenario also ties into a special metaplot element from Pathfinder Society Special #6-98: "Serpents Rise". Players who have completed that special event are encouraged to bring its Chronicle sheet when playing this adventure.

05-02 The Wardstone Patrol Tier 3-7 GM:?
All-out war has erupted on the long-contested border between the crusader nation of Mendev and the demon-infested Worldwound. With the magical defenses that once held the demons at bay failing, defense of the region now falls to small patrols of mobile soldiers to resupply, reinforce, and communicate between the border's many fortresses and outposts. With so much at stake, the Pathfinder Society has enlisted many of its agents to assist in the war effort, both to protect its own interests and to prevent the onrushing tide of demonic attackers from plunging the entire Inner Sea region into chaos. On one such wardstone patrol, however, the party may find itself facing an enemy of an entirely different nature.
