State of the Lodge

Greetings Pathfinders...
It's been a whirlwind last few weeks which has barely left me any time to think. As I look back over the last few weeks, I'm amazed so many things have gone as well as they have.
First, the news that you are all aware of, Russ Brown stepped down as the Venture Captain of Denver and Northern Colorado. While Russ' absence from the Society is only temporary, his leadership will be sorely missed. Aside from taking the lead for organizing events all over Northern Colorado, Russ was also the administrator of the Rocky Mountain PFS website! While we all look forward to Russ' return to the gaming table soon, we are still lessened by his absence as a Venture Captain.
In the meantime, Chris Mabbut has stepped up into the leadership of the Denver Pathfinder Lodge and is doing an outstanding job. He and I have been in close communication since Russ departure working on a number of issues that pertain to keeping the Denver Pathfinders having fun with our beloved hobby.
The next bit of news involves not one but two conventions that took place! We had GenghisCon up in Denver and then the very next week we had GalaxyFest down in Colorado Springs. Both conventions were unqualified successes with both conventions organizers commenting how incredible the Pathfinders were.
It's also my pleasure to announce two recent promotions within our ranks. The first is the promotion of Paul Lang to the position of Venture Agent for Wizard's Chest in Denver. The second promotion is that of Scott Sinclair to the promotion of Venture Lieutenant in Northern Colorado. Both of these individuals have gone above and beyond in helping to make events go off and are so very deserving of these promotions.
The final bit of news that I have for everyone is that, for the moment, the administrative duties for the rockymountainpfs.com site is going to myself and to Chris Mabbut. While we are in the process of getting someone that can take these duties on for a more permanent basis, we can be contacted for anything related to the website in the interim.
That's about it, for now. I hope to have a few more announcements to make within the next week or so, but in the meantime, I hope that everyone is having fun exploring the reaches of Golarion!
Explore, Report, Cooperate!
