I'm sure the Jack Chick fans will love this..

Seriously, I take it this is the Paizo equivalent of a psionics system? Hopefully it isn't as broken.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Yep, I was thinking psionics, too. Gonna make a PC tonight to playtest at EG.

Wow.  Had no idea this was coming out, so thanks for the heads up.  Of course, this means I'll just have to make more characters  :=)  Ah well, the sacrifices we make.

I'm gonna see if any one of the occult classes will work with my Sylph boon I haven't used yet. Anyone know how many pages the playtest has?

63 pages.
I'm about to start working on making a Spiritualist.  Liking the idea of the ghost version of a summoner.

Yowch! 63 pages!?! I'll have to print out just one or two classes I like the most. (I print my pdfs at the library. 10¢ per page).

Printed out the Spiritualist. I might GM a 1st level (gothic horror?) module soon at Bonnie Brae so we can try out some classes.

I'm definitely digging the spiritualist the most.  Not really sure which of the others would come in second.
I'm still wrapping my brain around how I'm going to build my spiritualist, but I'm leaning strongly towards him working as a hack & slash flank duo with his phantom (who will probably be anger-focused).
What sort of build/role are you going for with yours?

I'll keep an eye out for it so we can share ideas.  I'm debating whether to go anger or hatred as the emotion, but I should probably be more focused on the spiritualist himself, I suppose  ;=)

Actually, I'll wait until you post yours. My phone always double-posts when I start a new topic for reasons unknown.

I may join in this too.

That last boon is pretty sweet honestly.  I'll probably roll up a kineticist or a mesmerist because they both seem interesting and give me the base class to build the type of character I have wanted to create.

I'm worried about the mesmerist coming across as a little evil though. I guess that would depend on the known spells taken.  I'm super interested in this playtest after reading through the document.

Well, mesmerist might come across as evil, but one could also argue that the spiritualist is kind of a necromancer since his "sidekick" is a ghost, so either way could come across as evil-looking.

Incidentally, I've posted a rough draft of my spiritualist on the advice section.
