Last weekend at our monthly Venture Officer meeting we discussed Starfinder and the schedule for the first Starfinder Society games.  First crack at Starfinder Society will be at Denver B-Con 1 Sep to 3 Sep.  If you simply cannot wait to space-pirate-pew-pew  8), sign up to play or GM and event (details at http://rockymountainpfs.com/http://test.rockymountainpfs.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=4).

The tentative schedule at Enchanted Realms is to have the first Starfinder Society (SFS) Roleplaying Guild Scenario, #1-01: The Commencement, on 13 September.  There will likely be multiple tables for this event to accommodate the initial interest that everyone has in the game.  After that, I will schedule one scenario per month with the potential for two tables of the scenario so we do not outpace the writers and release schedule for scenarios.  I will also reschedule SFS #1-01 each month until there is no longer a demand, so don't worry about missing the first game!

Feedback?  Thoughts?  Suggestions?

Sounds like a plan. I cannot wait for the signups. Told you this trumps all of Pathfinder for me. It can't get here soon enough.

Just throwing this out there for everyone. The Starfinder Society Guild Guide is now available (as is the Pathfinder season 9 update).

If you are interested download the guide now, and start building those awesome looking characters. I look forward to seeing what everyone has and can wait to start exploring the Pact World with you all.

It took me a bit to find the Starfinder Society Guild Guide so I thought I would put the link below so everybody else could get to it easier.

FYI, the Starfinder Core Rulebook PDF is apparently listed as $9.99 on Thursday.
Kinda ridiculous, considering there are older Pathfinder Adventure Paths and Player Companions going for $15, but at the least it might make it easier for more people to get started in space.

Paizo's been pretty good about keeping all their core books at $10.  Which I (for one) really appreciate.  :)

Thinking about it since last night (and reading over some of the Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide) I might be willing to GM Starfinder scenarios.

I especially like that boon where you can report your character to Paizo and your character has a chance to become an in-game Venture Captain. It would be amusing to role play my own character giving out the mission briefing.

I have seen the PDF versions at about $10 and only on the best sales do I ever see the print versions for less than $15.

Got my book, ready to play any time. I'm thinking the society so be easier since the core book seems to have taken some of the problems into account. I look forward to seeing how this goes

Before folks get too spun-up on making characters for the first Starfinder Society event, bare in mind that I will be scheduling 1-01: The Commencement which uses pregenerated characters and is intended to introduce the Starfinder Society to players.  And yes, it will be scheduled on the 13th of September for 2 tables, possibly more.
