Enchanted Realms - February GM Call
Greetings Pathfinders!!!
It's that time of the month again... Time for brave souls to volunteer to GM for the month of February. With Con On The Range behind us, and GalaxyFest approaching, this is going to be a lot of fun!
Now, some of you might be asking, "But O.J., what are the benefits of GMing?" I'm glad you asked! First of all, you get to help make sure that everyone in this wonderful little community of ours has a lot of fun. While I realize that this is more than enough of a benefit for most of you, on the more tangible front, anyone that volunteers to GM automatically gets first crack at saying "I want to play in THIS game..." (This includes those people that volunteer as a Backup GM) Second, you get credit applied towards your GM status. As you get additional stars on your GM status, you gain certain privileges within the Pathfinder Society including the ability to replay games that you've already played for credit! Third, all of the players donate funds to your store account to help offset some of the costs associated with preparing a game. Finally, by volunteering to GM, you get the admiration and respect of your fellow gamers. Yes, you too can have young players look up at you with awe and marvel at your massive GM skills.
If you have not GMd before, that's OK. We all had a first time and you can contact me or the other "seasoned" GMs out there for all sorts of advice. (You want to get a gamer talking? All you have to do is ask their advice about the game...)
If you would you like to GM (and in the process, reserve your slot), please post under this topic or email me at whitemane_1@yahoo.com. Without further ado...

Adam requested to play in my game instead of running The Wounded Wisp instead... I've put you down to play in The Wounded Wisp.lochinvar_1971 wrote: I'd like to play Adam's

Re: Enchanted Realms - February GM Call
I was going to run Wounded Wisp for you last month, before you shifted it into February, so I can run the second table of it.
Zaia and I will play Horn of Aroden the second week. Not sure where we want to play for the final two weeks.

Belinda and I will play the the slave masters mirror and chasm of screams. I'll Gm the merchants mauller and the haunting of hanjoa
Are you sure you want to split the party? I mean what's the worst that can happen in a world full of monsters..... So I ask again are you sure? (GM Hint)

Re: Enchanted Realms - February GM Call
Any chance you'd be willing to swap the dates for 6-11 and 3-16?
I think it's better to spread new content out over more than one night. Plus I want to play 6-11

That's actually why I pulled myself from GMing the Wounded Wisp and volunteered to GM on the 11th instead.

Re: Enchanted Realms - February GM Call
Hjal... Normally I would, but since we already have various people signed up to GM/Play various games, I'm going to say no... The good news is that we will be offering 6-11 twice during GalaxyFest...Hjal Nelson wrote: Any chance you'd be willing to swap the dates for 6-11 and 3-16?

If nothing else, I can see about scheduling it again next month...

Re: Enchanted Realms - February GM Call
Not a problem, I'm not particular with GM's, I just try to mix it up and had done Frostfur with Hjal last week.

Re: Enchanted Realms - February GM Call
OJ, this is just an observation, you put Zaia and I down for playing, but you didn't put me down as GMing for Wounded Wisp. Wasn't sure if this was an oversight or if you were just waiting to see if we had enough players for two tables (which would make sense). If it was an oversight, I wanted to be sure you were aware of it. If not, disregard this message.

Re: Enchanted Realms - February GM Call
I think that PFS Core will probably be live by the 4th-
if so you can put my instance of Wounded Wisp down for Core mode. If we don't have enough people interested to make a core-only table happen, I can just run lame old cheese mode.

Core is already live, the reporting system for core just won't be set up until the end of the week.Hjal Nelson wrote: I think that PFS Core will probably be live by the 4th-

I was actually planning on discussing Core tonight with everyone to try and get a feel for it, but assuming all goes well, I will put you down to run Core on the 4th.
