ANNOUNCING - Denver - Enchanted Grounds - Monday, September 8th PFS

Post by Drogon » Wed Sep 03, 2014 6:13 pm

Hello again, everyone,

The second Monday of September is mere days away. So, it is time to announce the PFS game day for Enchanted Grounds in Highlands Ranch. As always, we have four tables at all tiers. There is still space left, but remember that we are limited to six players at each table; sign up now if you want to guarantee your seat. If you end up as an alternate I will keep in touch with you separately to let you know if space becomes available. Please pay attention to updates and to your email.

Game time is 6:00 PM. If you cannot make your game on time please call ahead so we know not to seat any alternates. If you miss the opening briefing without letting us know you will not be seated when you show up. Also remember that it is $2 to play, which we use to give our GMs a gift certificate to thank them for their time and effort.

IMPORTANT: To sign up please email me directly at Jeff@EnchantedGrounds.com <--Clicking this link will cause your email program to generate an email directly to me. Replying to this email (the one generated by the announcement) will NOT get your email to anyone. Alternatively you may post a reply in the thread on RockyMountainPFS.com that was generated by this announcement.

Below are the dates, times, scenarios and tiers. A few tables will already have players, but not many, so start emailing me to let me know what you want to play.

Jeff, I'm prepping #5-99 now and it says that event coordinators make sure that 3 factions are represented at each table. Is it possible to do this? It would help if I also know in advance which 3 factions are represented.

Thanks,
Christian D.

Gonna add some stuff to this: There are 7 short quests for each faction. If I get more than 3 factions represented at the table then the scenario will last 5+ hours. If less then 3 the scenario will only last up to 3 hours. Apparently,  this was supposed to be a multi-table event so it is kind of important that the one table I have has only 3 factions represented. Drawing up/creating all the maps for all 7 faction's missions is quite a bit of work. I can do it, but it would be far more helpful knowing which 3 factions I am running it for.

No, Chris, it is not possible to pre-select factions. It is also no longer necessary to have 3 or more tables.

Please read these threads while prepping this scenario:

http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2rcqj?599Th ... -We-Choose

http://paizo.com/products/btpy97n4/disc ... hoose#tabs

Both of those will have information on how to mitigate any issues that you foresee.

And, please, can you bring this stuff up to me in an email rather than posting it on the threads in the future? Thank you.

No updates to post this morning. I'd love to get some more players; there is room at every table. Just let me know if you want to play.

Yeah, what happened to all the players? It wasn't all that long ago that every table filled almost immediately. Since all these were available (multiple times) at Tacticon, is it possible that Tacticon absorbed a lot of the current desire for these tables?

Partially that. Partially other things:

5th Edition launched, and many people are testing that out for something different.

School started up and people shift focus for a month or so.

Maybe people don't like sci-fi in their fantasy as much as Paizo thought they would.

There are plenty of reasons, along with the usual ebb and flow of gaming. It'll get busy again, and you'll all wonder where the room went. (-;
