Tacticon 2014 - GM's and registering for games
Tacticon 2014 - GM's and registering for games
How does it work for GM's that choose to get a free weekend pass (i.e. GM'ing 3 or more games) and wish to pre-register for games to play in the various timeslots? When I go to the page to choose games, it only allows me to make a choice of game slots to play if I also have a weekend badge in the cart.

In the past, we've paid upfront and were reimbursed in cash at the con.

Interesting. Are we certain that it works the same way this time?

For Genghis Con, I contacted the DGA 'directly' via Facebook and they credited the badge and an event.

Read this post and send Jacque the relevant information. Once the DGA creates an order for your free badge then you can pre-order tickets for games.
That is how it should work. The DGA did not have it's act together for the last Genghis Con and many people, myself included, had to buy our badges and get a refund at the Con.

Based on another post on a different thread, I discovered that the games were already rapidly selling out. So, I took Jeff's & Sior's advice (thanks guys!) and just bought the badge so that I could register for games and wait to get credit when at Tacticon. It's too bad the site doesn't allow for the possibility that a person already has access to the convention but just needs to register for games.
