I am happy to annouce the Pathfinder Society games for July 26th at CollectorMania. Please remember it is $2 to play each scenario which goes to buy the GM a store gift certificate.

We still have a few open seats for this Saturday's Games.

FYI.  Before the Dawn I & II are actually best when played together. So if anyone who played part I on the 12th wants to play part II, just let me know!

I'd like to join Crypt of the Everflame.  Go for 5!  Haven't played in a good while, but I'm interested in trying out some Pathfinder. Assuming I can make it out there tomorrow, which I almost certainly probably can, I'm Josh, and let's go with Rogue 1.

Have you played Pathfinder Society before? If not just make your rogue using a 20 point buy and the Core Rulebook. Or I will have some pregenerated characters available if you need one.

Never played PFS, but I'm pretty familiar with DnD in general. I put together something with the PRD, using a couple options from the APG and a pair of traits from Ultimate Campaign.

Not Everything Paizo publishes is legal for Pathfinder Society Play.

To start with checking the free PDF for the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play. This will give you an idea what the Pathfinder Society Campaign is like.

To check what is  legal you can look at the Additional Resources page.
To save time I copied the relavent sections below.

for Advanced Players Guide Additional resourses says:

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Advanced Player's Guide
All playtest versions of the six new base classes from this book are no longer legal for play as of 8/3/10. Anyone playing the playtest version of one of the six new base classes must have updated his or her character as of 8/3/10. Updating your character means adjusting only the things that have changed, but not rebuilding the character.

The following parts of the Advanced Player's Guide are NOT legal for play:
craftsman alternate Dwarven racial trait
practicality alternate Halfling racial trait
heart of the fields alternate Human racial trait
Alchemist's Brew Potion class ability (he receives Extra Bombs instead as a bonus feat)
Cavalier's Expert Trainer class ability (he receives Skill Focus [Handle Animal] instead as a bonus feat)
Witch's Cauldron hex
Antipaladin alternate class
Cooperative Crafting feat
all cursed magic items and artifacts
the Hero Point new rule and associated feats, spells, and magic items

Equipment: All staves in Chapter 7 are not legal for play from this source. If you purchased these prior to Aug. 16, 2012, they are grandfathered into the campaign.

Traits: hedge magician, natural born leader, and rich parents traits, and all of the Campaign Traits.

The Master Alchemist feat may only be selected by Alchemists and Poisoners.

As far as traits from Ultimate campaign additional resources says:

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Ultimate Campaign
Refer to page 10 in the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play for rules on utilizing character retraining.
Note: Race traits are only available for characters of the associated race. Religion traits are only available for characters of the associated religion.
Traits: all traits listed on pages 51-64 are legal for play except corpse cannibal, hedge magician, natural-born leader, rich parents, and unblemished barrel.

I wouldn't worry about it for your first game but be aware that the Pathfinder Society rules state that you are supposed to own the book or pdf of any thing outside the core rulebook if you use it on your character.
