Happy New Year! We are trying the previously listed PF2e quests as the holidays threw our schedule out of whack. Like the prior month, we are going out of order. Collectormana is hosting an MTG event on the 13th, so we want to make sure we respect their space and ensure our players are comfortable.

If we get done with the PF2e or SF2e scenarios faster than the listed time, we can run another one depending on interest.

Taldor responded to the Godsrain, the death of the war god Gorum, with an attempt to draw in the finest minds in magical study. They've invited scholars from across Golarion to attend a symposium on the Godsrain and the warshards, pieces of Gorum fallen from the sky, and the Pathfinder Society has decided to present their findings from some unique warshards they recovered in hopes of gaining insight from others across the world. The Aspis Consortium, though, finds this an excellent opportunity to gain valuables in the theft of research materials, and to harm the Pathfinders by framing them for the theft. The Pathfinders must deal with the Aspis and clear their names lest they leave the symposium not with new knowledge but with a reputation dragged through the mud.

From their newly founded lodge in the Sloughscar Hills, the Starfinder Society studies the Wreck of the Returned, a massive crashed starship the Starfinders believe was dispatched by the long-lost First Ones. Recent excavations into other First Ones sites uncovered powerful weapons, dangerous technology, and volatile magic—incredibly valuable discoveries capable of causing immense harm should they fall into irresponsible hands. While the Starfinder Society would love to enter the Wreck of the Returned directly, the Wreck’s automated defenses and networked robotic servitors make such an expedition incredibly dangerous. Fortunately, the Starfinders have discovered a nearby site of interest: a sizable piece of wreckage which detached during the crash and landed off-site. Eager for answers, the Starfinders dispatch a team to the crash site to investigate.

Unfortunately, Hellknights from the Order of the Eclipse are already inside the wreckage, and their mandate to control, suppress, or destroy dangerous information and technology means they have no intention of sharing anything they uncover. It’s up to the Starfinders to explore the wreckage and gather information, before the Hellknights systematically seize, censor, and destroy everything in their path.

This is an adventure in the ongoing Invasion's Edge metaplot.

Agents of the mysterious Functionary, self-proclaimed representative of the Wreck of the Returned, slink through the Sloughscar Hills on the planet Akiton, abducting anyone who refuses to bow to her commands. Among the missing are two Starfinders. Worried over the fate of his friends and other explorers, First Seeker Sarmak dispatches a team of Starfinders to rescue them. Navigate the Akitonian wilderness, track down the missing, and face off against the forces holding them captive! Their fate is in your hands!

I'll sign up for both on the 31st.

On the 24th, instead of running the two quests, I will run the PFS Scenario: #6-18 Symposium on a Fallen God (Tier 3-6) if that works for everybody.

Switched over from #7-08 since that one will be run at Genghiscon. Let me know if something else works better.
