Shadowrun at Enchanted Grounds

Hello, everyone.

I have explored this with you all before: the idea of playing Shadowrun Missions, the organized play system for the Shadowrun RPG. We have been running a table on the third Monday every month at Enchanted Grounds, but recently had several people get new jobs and/or move out of the state. Thus, our player base has dwindled to a point that putting together tables can be difficult, and the last two months have not happened.

So, I would like to put it out there to all of you. If you have any interest in playing Shadowrun I would love to hear from you. Post in this thread or email me and I will add you to the announcement list for those games.

The Missions season that is currently in play still uses 4th Edition rules. They have published a couple Missions under 5th Edition rules, but not enough to sustain long-term play. It will eventually change over, of course, but we are unsure when.

If you still want to give it a whirl just let me know your name and the email address I should use to contact you (I use a private list to announce Shadowrun, as for now there is no public site like RMPFS.com for Missions).

I have added several people to my list because of this thread, and would like to add more. So, here's a new enticement:

After talking to Morgan (the GM for most games at the store) he has decided it may be best to start a brand new season, using the 5th Edition rules. This makes the game a much easier start for new players. He wants to set up an "intro" night on the 7th to build PCs for the new rules and introduce the story line. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come, no reservation necessary.

Of course, I'd still like to add to my mailing list, so if you know you're interested in more than just observing from the fringes, send me an email.
