After the game tonight, somebody needs to tell me why this scenario is so unpopular.  Even just the boon at the end makes the scenario worth going through to me, so I'm perplexed!

It's not unpopular. It's very popular. Everyone who can play it has played it, is the problem.

And, for what it's worth, if it's not Tier 1-5, it doesn't fill as fast. It's just a fact of life. Over the course of an adventure's life you can expect to see it on the schedule a number of times based on its Tier:

Tier 1-5: it'll get run successfully 8 or so times.

Tier 3-7: it'll get run successfully probably 6 times, max

Tier 5-9: it'll get run successfully perhaps 4 or 5 times.

Tier 7-11: you'll see it two or three times at the most.

Anything more than this and I'm canceling tables or running sub-optimal groups (3 or 4 players).

Yup. I have played it and run it 3 times - twice I think at EG.
