An all bard party would be interesting to say the least. I am playing a wizard to learn the subtitles of playing a wizard in PF2. I am well aware by choosing a evoker instead of a conjurer I am taking the less powerful option.

I normally play skill monkeys like Rogues, Bards, Wizards/Arcane Users. A martial character would be a different change.
Only conflict maybe is last game in April.

If everyone else agrees, we could postpone that last session in April and move it to May. The module could take as few as 3 sessions, but, there are a few extra side quests that I'd like to fit in if possible. I'm hoping to get the most experience out of this module as possible, too.Homunculus23 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 10:32 pm I normally play skill monkeys like Rogues, Bards, Wizards/Arcane Users. Has anyone come up with an ancestry, class, & background yet? We are a week away from the first session. Try to get those to me soon so we can work out any kinks & I can start prepping.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'd love to take the last spot if it's still available. I don't expect any schedule conflicts. I'm not too picky about what class I play, but my PFS character is a melee fighter so I'd prefer something different.
I've run PF2 for my home Age of Ashes campaign since release (and playtest before that) so I'm pretty familiar with the rules and am happy to help shepherd some new players.

Great, Rico! That last spot is yours. Let me know ASAP what PC you'll be bringing.

I play a happy-go-lucky Dwarf Barbarian (Too bad no Lizardman option ). Fully Tank. With the Teamster background, if that all fits?
Sorry, I do not the Lore that well to know if a Dwarf would be a Barbarian or a Teamster.
I think I'll need clarification on is how the Instinct and Rage work together. If a specific Instinct works for the game, let me know!

Sounds good. Probably more like an angry dwarf barbarian if you're a wagon driver/teamster. Thanks!Homunculus23 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 11:08 am I play a happy-go-lucky Dwarf Barbarian (Too bad no Lizardman option ). Fully Tank. With the Teamster background, if that all fits?

To let everyone else know, there can only be one PC with the Teamster background. Logan was the first to get back to me. There are no limits on the other backgrounds.

I'm still mulling over my options, but I'm going to be using the refugee background. Sort of a drifter-style character. Ranger, Druid, rogue, possibly a monk.

Re: The Wizard's Chest: The Fall of Plaguestone multi-session event!
Well, I was leaning toward a gnome teamster druid with an animal companion, but I guess the background will have to change.
Lesser scion works fine, though. An insignificant noble who had no family inheritance and thus no responsibilities and ended up wandering off into nature to find himself and becoming a Druid.
Built as a primary caster (low strength/mediocre dex so sub-par AC) with a companion to help the team flank and add a little more damage. I expect to use spell attacks at range until at least 3rd level when animal form/wild shape is potentially an option. Druids have a lot of flexibility so the plan is to adapt to help support whatever the group needs.

Re: The Wizard's Chest: The Fall of Plaguestone multi-session event!
The Barbarian is a traveler, which is why I chose it. A curiouser of fineness and weapons, for a Dwarf. I do not know lore about Knights of Lastwall, if they would have a Barbarian.
Question about character builds: for every voluntary ability flaw you take, you get an ability boost, right? And you can take a voluntarily ability flaw twice for two different boost?
Second, which Instinct works best? Thinking Dragon, Giant, or Sprit.

I posted your questions over on the General Discussion thread. You might want to look around or ask on the Paizo Advice forum also.Homunculus23 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 9:43 am My Barbarian is more a traveler, which is why I chose it. Two flaws = one boost. No score can go below 8 or above 18.Homunculus23 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 9:43 am The Barbarian is a traveler, which is why I chose it. A curiouser of fineness and weapons, for a Dwarf. I do not know lore about Knights of Lastwall, if they would have a Barbarian.

Re: 2e Character creation
Regarding instincts. They're all pretty cool. Pick whichever one works with your character idea & which you think you'll have the most fun playing.
