I am offering the Plunder and Peril module for sanctioned PFS play. It will start on January 20th, 2019 (1-5:30pm) at the Wizard's Chest and may take up to seven 4-hour sessions to complete. This game will be played in Campaign Mode; You can create a 4th level PC using PFS rules with certain exceptions (classes & races not allowed in PFS) that are approved by me, the GM, to only be played through this module. Or choose a 4th level pregen. PCs will reach 6th-8th level upon completion. You will receive a chronicle sheet after each of the 3 adventures to apply to any of your PFS characters. Each session is an optional $2 to play, which goes to your GM for time & resources spent prepping.

Mike, you will need to register for a PFS account prior to the game since it is a PFS Sanctioned game. Try to jump in on some PFS games in the area in December to learn the nuances of PFS play (not necessary but will help).

I have a Ranger3/Wizard1 4th level character who if he lives, will become an Arcane Archer at 8th (After 3 more adventures)

After some more research, anyone can start with a level 3, 4, or 5 PC. Each chapter grants a chronicle where players can recieve 3 XP and 4 PP (or 1.5 xp & 2pp on slow track). Those that complete all 3 parts receive a special 4th chronicle sheet, which is pretty awesome. You may apply the chronicles to any of your PFS characters - not just the one playing through the series - as long as that PC is in tier.

So, the levels required for each part are:

Part 1: levels 3-5
Part 2: levels 4-6
Part 3: levels 5-7

Some more info;
Since we are playing Campaign Mode, if you are creating a 4th level PC strictly for this module, anything 'piratey' is a good idea for a build. Swashbucklers, rogues, Ocean Druids, Water or fire clerics & wizards, sylphs, undines, Besmaran clerics, etc...

If you really want to implement something in your build that isn't PFS legal (race, class, items), swing it by me for consideration. However, No APG summoners, period!

I am making the traits and items on pages 1 thru 7 of The Skull & Shackles Player's Guide legal for creating your 4th level PCs. It is a free download.
For those creating a custom 4th level PC, use the character creation rules in the Guide to OP, and for 4th level you get 6,000 gold with a max purchase limit of 2,500 gp. This should be enough to get you at least a +1 weapon & +1 armor.

When any of you have your PC ready, please email me a copy or picture of the sheet so that i have a good idea what the party composition will be and so I can post what classes will be participating. Also, make sure to bring all the books and/or watermarked pdfs you used to create your PC to the game. Actually, just bring the necessary stuff. Using a spell from Reign of Winter book 2? Bring a copy of the spell. Basically, know your spells, abilities, and everything to cut down on looking up rules. You all have a month to work on your characters, so take your time. I'm currently helping a player with their cleric or inquisitor build. I'm happy to help anyone else. Just email me any questions or concerns.

I do have a question. If we make a new Character, I see by your post that we get 6000 GP. (I assume that is in addition to our regular starting 150 GP. What about Prestige Points? To spend 2500 GP we would need at least 13, per the chart for GP allowed for prestige.
