Thought I'd post this here also since no one is seeing the original post on the RPG thread...

Yes, we are! Right now it looks like we'll be playing at Belleview & Monaco when we can agree on a day & time. Can I get a real name, please? What kind of experience with RPGs do you have? (Don't take any offence about questioning your experience. Anyone is welcome! It just helps to know beforehand).
Cheers!

Re: Looking for D&D 5e players
None taken! My name's Mike Whitlow. I've been playing RPGs off and on for about 30 years now. Been a regular GenCon attendee for the past 7 years. I've played AD&D (2e), Pathfinder, 5e, STar Wars (West End and Fantasy Flight) and a Vampire Masquerade. Are you looking to start up a homebrew or a published adventure path? I'm good either way just curious.

Re: Looking for D&D 5e players
Gonna do a series of published adventures based in the Forgotten Realms. I have tons of 1e to 3.5e stuff to convert to 5e. Most being classic 1e Modules linked together in some way. Also a sprinkling of adventures & side treks from old Dungeon Magazines. However, anyone willing to take a spot behind the DM screen can run whatever they want, even homebrew. I'm looking to keep that "old school" D&D feel.
Oh, and I just picked up the 5e beginner box & really like the adventure it comes with. I'm considering starting wth that.
