Pathfinder Playtest - Doomsday Dawn
Just wanted to get a feeler out to see if anyone was interested in trying to play through the Doomsday Dawn adventure path for the pathfinder playtest.

It sure could be if we figure out a time that works. Otherwise I would be happy to host at my house in Castle RockCDragos wrote: Would it be at CollectorMania?

Re: Pathfinder Playtest - Doomsday Dawn
Doomsday Dawn is an adventure path (like we did with Dragons Demand). Best played with a group of 4 or 5. I would see if there is interest outside of the normal scheduled playtest time but I don't want to pull people away from it either.Pogie wrote: Is this different than the playtest on the schedule at CM?
Not sure what all we will do for the scheduled playtest nights. The first few will more likely be quest type things as there will discussion for character building, rules, advancement, etc. Paizo has also suggested trying to run some of the already released pfs seneriaos using the playtest rules (swapping out monsters, dc checks, etc) which would make sense for those nights.

I would also be interested.
However, As the Pazio tracking sheets are about Doomsday Dawn, and we have a full group for the afternoon session, I'm thinking that we should run that on Saturday the 25th.
Now we have the question of what to do in the evening session, as Marie and Jimmy are signed up for both! As we don't have more players signed up it may not be a good idea to continue that series with them?? I have a home game that evening so I can't attend.
Any ideas?
Dan have you already started preparing and spending resources for Doomsday Dawn?
Thanks, Walt

Re: Pathfinder Playtest - Doomsday Dawn
Walt, I will most likely prep a quest or low level scenario from season 0 or 1 and switch out the monsters and the checks to fall in line with the playtest rules. Hopefully we can get some gold play time in for the evening session if people have already built characters.WaltRed wrote: I would also be interested.

Re: Pathfinder Playtest - Doomsday Dawn
What kind of money do we have when creating a level 4 character?

I don't know if the scenario tells us? Dan?
On page 348 of the Playtest rulebook it does cover it, but it confusing, in that it gives things like items, and not just a GP amount.
That is where I would start to try to figure it out.
