April GMs Call for CollectorMania

Greetings Adventurers!

We are excited to announce the CollectorMania PFS schedule for April!

At this time we are just taking bids for GMs.


Keep in mind the benefits of running games at CollectorMania:
1. We're participating in the Regional Support Program! Short version: you get boons for running games! Check out the LINK. As of last month, we have new boons!
2. GMs get a $10 store gift certificate for their time and expense of preparing the scenario.
3. GMs get the privilege of signing up early for each game they volunteer to GM.
4. GMs get a free T-shirt once they have GMed 10 games at CollectorMania. These Ts grant the wearer a free re-roll per session.
5. Remember, Core Campaign allows a second GM chronicle if you have already GMed the scenario for the Organized Play Campaign. CORE games are labeled with a bolded, purple CORE.
6. The love, adoration and fear of everyone at the table they run.

Saturday, April 14th, 5pm - 9pm: Module: City of Golden Death (4-6) (first session) GM: Marcus

Tuesday, April 24th, 6pm - 10pm: #6-16: Scions of the Sky Key, Part III: The Golden Guardian CORE (1-5) GM: Tim

Saturday, April 28th, noon - 4pm: #4-04: King of the Storval Stairs (7-11) GM: Tim
Saturday, April 28th, 5pm - 9pm: Module: City of Golden Death (4-6) (second session) GM: Marcus

Tim, per our conversation, I've put you down for the Scions series and King of the Storval Stairs.
I've talked to CollectorMania and they open at 10am on Saturday. So, how early would you like to start?

I have kind of a dumb question. For the modules on the 14 & 28, can I put both modules on a lv 6 character, or would she level out of it too quickly? If I can put both on a lv 6 character, I'd love to GM both.

The chronicle for a module gives 3 xp and 4 PP. So you get a level out of it.
Just like this month's module, we're breaking it out to 2 sessions but you only get 1 chronicle.

I thought Vanya would be all over The Storval Stairs, but it is a scary one.........

Paul, I think an hour early would be good. I do have a request though which you have the right to tell me I'm out of bounds on. The reason I want to run this scenario is because it is challenging. Characters have a very real chance of dying. These type of scenarios offer a different experience than your run of the mill scenarios, both for the players and the GM. It offers intensity and a real sense of accomplishment should you survive.

Having said that, if we get characters for a low tier table, I'd like there to be no high tier PCs. I know, I know, average party level yada yada yada. I think we've all been at tables where high tier PCs play down and ROFLstomp the scenario. I'm not interested in running this under those conditions.

Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow and we can chat about it then.
