December Games - Poll

Hello All,

I would like to start featuring some of the older seasons that people haven't had a chance to play or gm. My hope is we can recycle some content and hopefully get a few new players to the table. Please let me know your thoughts as soon as possible and I will get the December schedule out asap which will reflect the feedback.

I'm just getting back into PFS after a few years and I'm disappointed that a lot of venues seem to struggle to attract players for their tables. I'm really hoping to see EG Littleton have some tables go off as it's a nice store relatively close to home.

Coming back to the scene I'm left wondering if Paizo is dividing their organized player base a little too thinly. After some losses to 5E, Paizo players must now choose between regular PFS, Core and Starfinder. Having options is great but I'm getting the feeling that these options aren't helping populate tables where the player base appears to be thin. Sorry if this discussion has occurred already. Like I said it's been awhile for me.

As far as old content I don't really care except that I'd like to avoid the seasons that are underpowered as they were written pre a lot of the hardcovers; Apg, arg ultimates etc.

I voted for Season 5 because I really like a lot of those scenarios. I would like to see more high level play. As for bringing in new and relatively new players, I think seasons 2 & 3 would be best. Season 0 is 3.5 rules and with all the new material nowadays, they are easily steamrolled.

A Core game each session would be nice as well.

I would prefer to play CORE, and I have over 20 not played in seasons 2-8, and many in 0 & 1.

As for REG seasons 3 & 5 have the most holes.

For those who want 'high-level' play, are you thinking 5-9 or 7-11, perhaps both?

I have about 5 PCs that I created just for the theme at the start of various seasons. Demon hunter in the Worldwound/Nerosyan just to name one that still needs to complete some season 4 and 5 stuff. So, I would like to see more tier 5-9 & 7-11 in Standard, 1-5 & 3-7 in Core.

I'm huge with story and so is Paizo. They are revisiting a good bit of things from time past. It would be wonderful to get some of the history in relation with the current meta (grand master torch. that other guy I can never remember his name, but was big in season five that i really hate and pulled me back into playing and so forth) in there for people like myself that didn't join into pathfinder till late in the game. It would bring light to what is going on. Just a thought.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Looks like the majority of players are looking for some season 5 action. So with that I will get a few games scheduled!
