Doug, you can play a pre-gen, which is what I've been doing since I'm still unsure what to create. It is a beginner scenario as well and it's no big deal if you don't own the book the first couple times playing. Or join us at the PFS table with a pre-gen.

I just heard there should be plenty of space for our games tomorrow. There may be parking issues due to loads of customers shopping for Halloween. There's plenty of parking to the west of Broadway (Acoma Street, I think) and along 3rd Ave. Just don't park in the Meininger's lot!
