ANNOUNCING - Denver - Enchanted Grounds - Saturday, February 15th PFS

Hello, everyone,

The third Saturday in February is falling on Genghis Con weekend, so our usual selection of tables isn't happening. However, as I am not attending this year, and I know some of you don't, either, I figured I would personally run a table both morning and afternoon so that we had a little something to do.

But this is not for the faint of heart. I am calling this The Gauntlet. The two scenarios are two closely related adventures in the tier 3-7 range, and are two of the more dangerous adventures I've run. Plus, this will be the 6th and 5th times I have run them, respectively, so I know all their tricks and have seen just about everything you adventurers can throw at these two scenarios. So, you are forewarned: these are not your standard cakewalk adventures. I will do everything I can to test your abilities.

As always, games are $2 to play. I will start promptly at 9:00 AM for the morning slot and 2:00 PM for the afternoon slot. Please do not be late.

FYI for the other players; I only have one level-eligible character for both of these scenarios.  It is a 3rd level Ranger (archery style). He wouldn't turn 4th level until after the second (afternoon) game.

As of Friday afternoon I have no more updates. If things change dramatically I will post again in the morning. If not, I will see all of you tomorrow.

And feel free to call the store if you want in on that last afternoon spot.

RIP Lynden.  He'll never know that he was related to a demon, nor that he was less 'half-elven' than he knew, but not in the way that he would have hoped.

But for the record, those of you in the second game today, I'm comfortable with letting Lynden die off.  He was my first character, and by level 3 there, I could see where my design choices (and equipment purchases) were flawed.  Those of you in the first game got to see that to all of our detriment.  Lynden just couldn't pull the weight that groups needed.

So all is good.  The Pathfinders have a new martyr-of-the-week for the wall by the drinking fountain.

He died having saved someone else, though. That is something to be proud of.

I look forward to seeing what the next character is you bring to the table. I'm assuming he'll make his debut at The Confirmation next Monday. I'll be there along with you. (-:

PS - Sorry to those of you I abused, yesterday. I hope I gave fair warning, and I hope you had fun despite the danger level (and over-long games). I'll see you all around the table again soon, I hope.
