Enchanted Realms GM Call: September 2017

Post by Sir.Gryphon » Fri Aug 25, 2017 9:52 am

[shadow=blue,left]Hail and Well Met Pathfinders![/shadow]

September, time for school, apple picking, and the turning of the seasons.  And as a good Pathfinder, it's time for ADVENTURE!

This month many new things are brewing.  I have posted the first Starfinder adventures for Enchanted Realms!  Players and GMs, please sign up to run/play in the Starfinder events so I can gage interest.  If these games fill quickly, I will reschedule them again later in September.  I chose these adventures because they are good introductory adventures and they are both evergreen adventures.

We are also presenting the latest post-seeker (tier 12-15) adventure and the first sanctioned section of the Emerald Spire Superdungeon!  Sign up to GM and if you GM, you can sign up to play what you like!  Players, sign up for Starfinder and hold on until September to sign up to play!

Just as a reminder:
  • Games start at 6pm and end at 10pm.  Let's be respectful of our hosts and try to end on time!
  • Please make sure that your real name (or at least whatever you'd like me to call you on the schedule) is listed in your post
  • Sign up as soon as possible, you can always cancel if you need to
  • Any sign ups on the day of the game (Wednesday) may not get a slot at the table, but do show up.  We will always try to fit you in to a game!
  • GMs: if you need to cancel, let me know ASAP so I can find a replacement!
  • If you want a game scheduled, please ask!
Explore, Cooperate, and Report!

When the Pathfinder Society receives an invitation to a dinner party at the Thuvian Embassy, hosted by the guardian of this year's six doses of the infamous sun orchid elixir, the Decemvirate sends a team of Pathfinders to represent them and uncover the nature of the event. Can the PCs navigate the complex social landscape of Absalom's elite and gain access to the mysterious vault known as the Conundrum, or will they face public ridicule or worse in the face of the steepest competition in the Inner Sea?

The Pathfinder Society has secured the tools and uncovered the secret to shattering the Untouchable Opal and liberating the demigod within. All the Pathfinders lack is an impossibly hot flame-one that can match the searing hatred of Ymeri herself. The Society's best bet is Kandirion's Pyre, a supernatural forge situated where the elemental planes of earth and fire relentlessly batter each other. Freeing a demigod could send ripples through the multiverse and attract the attention of powerful creatures. Only the greatest agents stand a chance of breaking the Opal and surviving.

The following mornings, however, he awakens injured and lost in the wilderness, never reaching the mysterious destination that drew him from his bed in the night. Something is calling Kalkamedes, something powerful, but unless he can make it safely to the source of his somnambulism, that power will remain a mystery. It falls to a team of Pathfinders to escort the sleepwalker to his destination and uncover the true nature of the strange phenomenon overtaking Kalkamedes's dreams.

07-07 Trouble in Tamran Tier 1-5 GM:?
Less than a decade ago, the Pathfinder Society established a lodge in Nirmathas, an act that infuriated the nation's expansionist rival Molthune. The latter outlawed the Society soon after, and ever since Pathfinders have relied on smugglers like the Varisian entrepreneur Guaril Karela to slip supplies past the Molthuni blockade for both the lodge and the Society's war-torn neighbors. Something has intercepted those shipments. Can the PCs uncover the culprit and save the Society's reputation in Nirmathas?  Content in "Trouble in Tamran" also ties into a special metaplot element from Pathfinder Society Special #6-98: Serpents Rise. I know there were talks about a 12-15 scenario that Bill had already expressed interest to run...Totally think that should be scheduled. ~ Hillary

While I'm game to run it (I love high level stuff), it sounded like others had also expressed interest in running it as well.  And since I don't yet have a character that high, I feel I should leave it open for others first.  (But it should still probably be scheduled.)

Not me...  I think it is high time that Silver Crusader Venture Captain Byron de Feu, flame oracle of the Dawnflower, make his return...  (That is my -1 character, for those of you that are wondering...)

Will Scarlett comeback? Or has she gone to the dark side and given up the life as a Pathfinder?

So seeing is how this all you have, Hillary and I will be running a game but we don't know because its not up. But we both want to be signed up for The Commencement. If you do add a second week of Starfinder I will run The Commencement that week for sure.

Oh I think we were going to take this month off from the core group. Bill correct me if I am wrong.

Since you don't have any scenario's listed I would like to run 03-10 Immortal Conundrum on September 6th and would like to play SFS 01-01 The Commencement on September 13th.

Well with that Richard is doing,

I can run 4-14 My Enemy's Enemy, 4-21 Way of the Kirin, 4-23 Rivalry's End on the 27th all which are 3-7
Hillary will join this table

Hillary can run 3-02 Sewer Dragons of Absalom, 7-19 The Labyrinth of Hungry Ghosts on the 20th all which are 3-7
I will join this table

If any of these are suitable.

Thanks Micheal

I would like to play in either of the Starfinder games.  (I want to GM Starfinder, but I don't think that "real life" will allow me to adequately prepare enough to GM Starfinder in two weeks.)

I have never GM'd a scenario, but I would love to try if you ever need an extra, and if I can get into the Starfinder into the unknown, I'd appreciate it.

Just remembered a scenario, I've been wanting to either run or play, The Golden Serpent. Of course looking forward to Starfinder too. Like to snag a spot on the 1-01 for it if possible.

To every land I've seen, to all people I've met, to every swing of a sword, to every life I've taken and all those I've blessed, all done in search of an answer that I don't want to know.

I could run another table of starfinder into the unknown on the 6th.  But i won't be here on the 13th.  My daughter gets married in Lincoln on the 16th.
