Re: January 2020 @ The Wizard's Chest

Yeah, I used to use d6s of different colors to number the attackers, but I'll think of something more fun than that. And I like what you said about mixing it up to keep it a surprise. I know there are limits within organized play, but I used to re-skin monsters in modules all the time to exasperate ...

Yeah, I saw the Tiers stack up by Character levels in the Society rules.

Re: January 2020 @ The Wizard's Chest

Cool, I'll check it out. Thanks. This is going to be fun

Just on perusal, there quite a range of beasties in this adventure. We may need to rely on markers and theater of the mind a bit. GMing can get real expensive, real quick! There's nothing cooler than realistic minis though.

Re: January 2020 @ The Wizard's Chest

Wow, that's quite a few! That would require a lot of explaining to my wife to buy all those! It would be much appreciated if I could please borrow those for the session, Zach. If you check and find that you're missing some, let me know and I'll get those. I just bought the scenario, so I'll dig into...

Re: January 2020 @ The Wizard's Chest

I'll purchase the scenario and see what I might need. I might have some usable minis or substitutes. The maps may be a great thing to borrow, but I might just purchase them myself. I already bought the pirate ship flip-mat for the quest I'm running at GenghisCon. This is quite exciting to try a 4-hr...

Re: January 2020 @ The Wizard's Chest

I'll do it then. No time like the present to get going. Thanks for the suggestion. That is, of course, if Zach is okay with swapping places?

Re: Mythic Games January

On second thought, Christian, I just signed up to play Lost on the Road at Collectormania on the 25th. I'm scrambling to get a character to 2nd level before GenghisCon, so I think I may bow out on this one. Please, keep your spot. But thanks!

Re: January 2020 @ The Wizard's Chest

Hmmm? How does that work exactly? Can you both GM and play a Scenario? And who would the credit be applied to? I'll go read the PFS rules, but figure you guys would definitely know... I'm getting into the idea of becoming a GM, so this could be a great opportunity. Especially with a table full of GMs!

Re: Mythic Games January

I'd like to sign up for Table 1 on the 7th, but it looks like Ted has requested the last seat. Could you start a waitlist Jesse? And we'll see how it works out.

Re: January 2020 @ The Wizard's Chest

Houston, we may have a problem. It doesn't say if Star-Crossed Voyages is repeatable on Paizo? Only that it's Horizon Hunters. I plan on playing it at GenghisCon with my 3-4 level Wizard, so I may have to drop out on the 19th? If it is repeatable, I'm considering running a pre-gen to add to another ...

Re: January 2020 @ The Wizard's Chest

Ha! I might be psychic. I thought we may go with Absalom Initiation, and so decided to sign up for Star-Crossed Voyages at GenghisCon. I am excited to replay AI with my 1st level Fighter, because it seems like a rich Scenario that went untapped the first time I played it. I've also signed up to play...

Tickets are available now with an Early Access badge. They weren't after midnight last night, but I checked again this morning and was able to purchase mine.

Re: January 2020 @ The Wizard's Chest

If Table 2 doesn't get enough players, I'd be fine with replaying The Absalom Initiation with a 1st level Fighter that hasn't played it yet. Perhaps Zach and William may do the same to get a party of four? However, if Table 2 does fill up, I'd prefer to play Star-Crossed Voyages. Either way, I plan ...
