I would like to play my 9th level halfling archer, even if I have to play out of tier.  I am pretty sure that even if we have to use a level 7 cleric pregen to make the table go, we would still be playing Tier 5-6.  Level 6 Ranger + level 6 or 7 bard or monk + level 7 cleric pregen + level 9 archer ...
